The People (And Dogs) Of GPS
Donna has been with GPS since 2001, however, she officially joined the company full-time in 2016. Experience from her previous time in public relations & marketing and as a teacher enabled her to develop skills needed to succeed in HR. Donna also brings patience, being able to multi-task, and the ability to see things from multiple points of view to the GPS team, which comes in handy every day. As the CEO, her greatest achievement has been hiring the next generation of successful GPS team members and instituting ways that allow the company to scale and grow. Though she’s happiest playing with her dog Delilah, reading, watching West Wing, or finding cool places to eat with Steve, her favorite part of what she does at GPS is planning fun activities for the team, like lunches and celebrations.
Personal Motto: “To say you have no choice is failure of imagination.”
If she could be anywhere in the world right this minute, she’d be at the beach, no thought needed, but which beach would require some consideration.
Steve founded GPS in 2001 after starting in the premium industry after college and becoming fascinated with the industry. Each step of his career blended with his vision of owning a business, which lead to the creation of GPS. Steve believes that skills can be learned, however, desire is far more important in achieving success in life. As the founder and President, his greatest achievement is looking around the office and seeing our team knowing that they can provide for their families from his initial vision of creating GPS. Though he’s happiest riding on two wheels and taking trips with his wife Donna and dog Delilah, his favorite part of what he does at GPS is saying “good morning” to the team.
Personal Motto: “Be true to your word, even when no one else is looking.”
If he could be anywhere in the world right this minute, he’d be on top of a windy pass in Canada.
Delilah is the heart of our furry team member department. She brings a sense of comfort and peace to everyone in the office and makes sure to make her way through the office to say her daily hellos. As the best employee, Delilah loves receiving feedback in the form of treats and belly rubs. Though she's happiest napping, her favorite part of what she does at GPS is greeting everyone who walks in the building.
Unofficially a member of the GPS team since 2016, Greg joined the team full-time in early 2024. He now leads the GPS team by helping others to “do their best to be the best they are capable of being.” After 25 years of working remotely at previous jobs, Greg brings this experience as well as his eternally optimistic, fiercely loyal, highly competitive, and unconventionally creative personality to lead the GPS team.
While not in the office, Greg can be described as both a “home depot dad” and an “insatiable inner-child that always wants to have fun.” The Home Depot Dad moniker comes from his love of home remodeling and DIY projects, while the inner-child part comes from his desire to travel, learn, and try new things.
Personal Motto: “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift––that is why it is called the present.”
If he could be anywhere in the world right this minute, he’d be where I am whenever this is read, because it’s where I am meant to be at that moment and I try to enjoy and appreciate being in the moment as much as possible.
