The Logistics Specialist completes tasks that support sales efforts and is focused on growing revenue by acquiring new customers and increasing sales within the existing customer base. This individual will work in a fast-paced, family-owned business with room for professional growth. The right candidate will be trained to take on additional responsibility for an Account Manager position and possibly their own sales territory.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Complete order entry, track through production, delivery, and invoicing
- Complete quotes and sales presentations
- Coordinate samples and marketing merchandise programs with the sales team
- Prepare and send vendor communications
- Maintain prospect, customer, and supplier information in databases
- Assist sales team with miscellaneous sales tasks
- Approval of production proofs and virtual proofs w/sales oversight
- Shipping and receiving of sample items
- Management of assembly projects for the sales team, as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
- 1 - 3 years of customer service and/or administrative experience
- 3 - 5 years in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using CRM platform (e.g. SalesForce, Hubspot)
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Strong Microsoft Suite and Adobe Acrobat skills
- Prior customer service experience helpful
- Strong critical thinking skills and multitasking ability are a must
